Jessica Li, M.D., F.A.C.C. 


Dr. Li is Board Certified in both Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography. In addition, Dr. Li is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.


Dr. Li completed her Medical Degree at The Central University of Venezuela Medical School in Caracas, Venezuela and graduated in the top five percent of her class. She then went on to complete her residency and fellowship training in cardiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.


Dr. Li is also fluent in Cantonese (native), Spanish and can communicate quite well in Korean.

Julie Turiy, M.D., MPH


Dr. Turiy is Board Certified in Pediatrics and board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. 


Dr. Turiy completed her MD degree at George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, DC.  During this time she also completed her Master’s in Public Health/Health Policy at George Washington University School of Public Health, Washington, DC.  

Milan Patel, M.D.


Dr. Patel is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT and Endovascular Medicine.  


Dr. Patel completed his MD degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. His internship and residency training were completed at teh UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then went on to complete a three fellowship in Vascular Biology at NIH - Yale University School of Medicine in Connecticut, followed by his Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional fellowship at SUNY - Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York. 

Ameesh Parikh, M.D.


Dr. Parikh is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology.


Dr. Parikh completed his MD degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL where he was named a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society in his junior year, and graduated in the top 10 of his class. He then returned to UCLA where he completed three years of Internal Medicine training and developed an interest in cardiovascular medicine, working with the distinguished transplant cardiology team. 

Charles Parise, M.D.


Dr. Parise is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology.  


Dr. Parise completed his MD degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where he was honored as a Bob Herzog Scholar. He then went on to complete his three-year cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, where he also served as Chief 

Dinesh Kumar, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I., F.S.V.M., R.P.V.I.


Dr. Kumar is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.


Dr. Kumar completed his MD degree at the University of Bombay, King Edward Memorial Hospital in Bombay, India. He completed his residency program at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete his Cardiology Fellowship at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana. Finally, his path took him to Interventional Cardiology including advanced peripheral vascular and structural cardiovascular interventions at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, New York. 

Paul C. Drury, M.D.


Dr. Drury is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. 


Dr. Drury completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY with a BA degree in Neurobiology and Behavior, completing his course of study with distinction. He then completed his Medical Degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. His internship, residency, cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology training were completed at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he also served as chief cardiology fellow.

Chris Champion, M.D.


Dr. Champion is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. 


Dr. Champion received his Bachelor's/Master’s degrees in Biology at Baylor University and his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He remained in Galveston to complete his Internal Medicine Residency as well as his Cardiology Fellowship. He served as Assistant Professor of Medicine in Heart Failure and Transplant while at UTMB. His career path eventually led him to MD Anderson at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas where he aided in the development of the Cardio-Oncology program before moving to California.


Michael Chan Dam, M.D., F.A.C.C.


Dr. Dam is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease. 


Dr. Dam received his Bachelor's Degree in Science at the University of California Irvine in 1987, and his Medical Degree at the University of California San Diego in 1991. He then completed a three-year internship at the UCLA/VA West LA Medical Center. Dr. Dam's interest in Cardiovascular Disease moved him to the San Francisco area, where he completed a two-year Cardiology Fellowship at the UCSF - Mt. Zion Medical Center.


Francesca Byrne, M.D., F.A.A.P., F.A.C.C.


Dr. Francesca A. Byrne is a board certified Pediatric Cardiologist with additional expertise in non-invasive imaging including fetal echocardiography. Her research on assessment of fetal hearts has been published by peer-reviewed scientific journals and has been presented at national and international cardiology conferences. She is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.


Dominic Blurton, M.D., F.A.A.P., F.A.C.C. 


Dr. Blurton is Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography. 


Dr. Blurton completed his Medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Nevada and went on to complete his Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco.

John Baker, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.


Dr. Baker is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and  Interventional Cardiology. 


Dr. Baker completed his MD degree at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. He completed a three year fellowship specializing in Cardiology at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California and Harbor/UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA.

Greg Glover, M.D.


Dr. Glover is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. 


Dr. Glover completed his undergraduate education at The University of California at Los Angeles with a BS Degree in Biochemistry. He then went on to the University of California at San Diego to earn his Master of Science Degree in Chemistry. Dr. Glover completed his Medical Degree at New York Medicine College in Valhalla, NY. His residency was completed at Hofstra NSLIJ. He continued his education at Hofstra NSLIJ where he completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases.

Amar Chana, M.D.


Dr. Chana is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology. 


Dr. Chana completed his Medical Degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. His residency was completed at Northwestern University  in Chicago, IL where he received the Excellence in Teaching Award (2005). He then completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA where he was elected chief cardiology fellow. Lastly, he finished his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. 


Katherine Redden, PA-C


Katherine Redden is a board certified physician assistant who has been with PCA for over 8 years. She graduated from Western University with her masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2007 where she was on the Deans list for academics. 

Hien Truong, MSN, RN, NP-C


Hien Truong is nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She worked for over six years at Saddleback Memorial ICU before earning her Nurse Practitioner and Master of Nursing degree from California State University, Long Beach in 2011. 

Elena Castro, NP-C


Elena Castro is a board certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Nursing Credentialing Center. She has been a registered nurse for over 7 years, with over 5 years' experience in the cardiovascular-thoracic intensive care unit at Keck Hospital of USC. 

Hohai Van, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.


Dr. Van is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology.  


Dr. Van completed his MD degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson where he graduated AOA. He satisfied his internship and residency requirements at Stanford University, and went on to complete his Cardiology fellowship at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, California. 

Richard Swensson, M.D., F.A.A.P., F.A.C.C.


Dr. Swensson is Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology. 


Dr. Swensson was educated at Harvard University and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. His pediatric training was at the University of Texas and he was trained in pediatric cardiology at the Universities of Texas and Colorado Medical Centers. 

James Reznick, D.O., F.A.C.C.


Dr. Reznick is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease.  


Dr. Reznick graduated with honors from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1981. He completed his internship and residency at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his cardiology fellowship at the Chicago Osteopathic Medical Center. 

George Konugres, D.O., F.A.C.C.


Dr. Konugres is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease. 


Dr. Konugres attended UCLA, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Science in 1978. He then continued his education at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, where he received his Doctorate in Osteopathy in 1981.

Lamia Dris, M.D.


Dr. Dris is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. 


Dr. Dris completed her undergraduate education and Medical Degree at the University of Algiers School of Medicine in Algeria. Her Internal Medicine residency was pursued at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Odessa, where she also served as Chief Resident. Then she went on to complete Her Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Medicine.

Eric Reyes, MSN, FNP, BC


Eric Reyes is a dedicated, patient-focused board certified Nurse Practitioner. Eric graduated from University of California, Los Angeles in 2005 earning a Masters of Science in Nursing within the Family Nurse Practitioner Program.  

David Weinberg, M.D., F.A.C.C.


Dr. Weinberg is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease.  


Dr. Weinberg completed his MD degree at University of California, Davis. Dr. Weinberg's Internship and Residency were completed at the University of Michigan Hospitals. He then went on to complete his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Weinberg chose to stay in Orange County where he has been practicing since completion of his training.

Joseph M. Ruggio, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.


Dr. Ruggio is the Founder and President of Pacific Cardiovascular Associates Medical Group. 


Dr. Ruggio completed his MD degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York where he graduated AOA. He continued on with internship and residency as well as a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Ruggio has received numerous distinctions and accolades from both academic and managed care communities. 

Kenneth Wen, M.D.


Dr. Wen is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology.  


Dr. Wen completed his MD degree at the Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship and residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, New York and went on to complete his Cardiology Fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. 

Christopher Tan, M.D., F.A.A.P., F.A.C.C.


Dr. Tan is Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology. 


Dr. Tan completed his MD degree at the University of California in Irvine, California. After internship and residency training at the University of California in Irvine, he completed his fellowship at the University of California in San Francisco, California.
